Workforce Investment Board is responsible for the planning, policy,
and oversight of the local workforce investment system.
With
a majority of membership from the private sector, the board focuses
on the essential data to determine:

WORKING
IN PARTNERSHIP
The
Workforce Investment Board works together with Pima County Community
Services and other partners
in
identifying and developing programs that best meet the needs of
local employers.
A
fundamental component of the Workforce Development Program is
the One Stop Center Delivery System, a focal point for connecting
employers, job seekers, incumbent workers, youth, and others in
the community with training programs, training providers, and
other community services.
