STRATEGIC PLAN OVERVIEW
Pima
County's Workforce Development Comprehensive Plan will incorporate
the entire local workforce development system, including the federal
and state legislative requirements.
The workforce development system is designed to
serve the entire community, including youth, individuals looking
for work, incumbent workers, individuals with disabilities and
barriers, and employers.
The
Executive Summary is available on line and is formatted for
easy printing.
The
full plan addresses the strategic approaches, implementation tools,
and critical issues associated with the plan and its implementation.
Strategic areas are identified, and for each area the plan provides
outcomes and objectives as well as the tasks involved and key
measurements to verify implementation.
This
plan is consistent with and fully supports the State
Approved WIA Implementation Plan.
The
plan is comprised of the following sections. These are also formatted
